With its dramatic rock face, Devil’s Cove is a popular spot for photographers, beachcombers and geology enthusiasts alike. From atop the cove, the view up the coastline takes in Fox Head (often called Fox Island), used by the British to defend against the French in the early 1700s, and Horse Chops—both are excellent places for whale watching and bird spotting. The view in the other direction shows the stunning cliffs and coves skirting the award-winning Skerwink Trail.
