Join us to help create Haruna Sugisaki’s new work for the 2025 Bonavista Biennale!
Haruna is an artist visiting from Ōiso, Japan. She paints murals using natural materials including soil, plants, and rock collected from the places she visits. She calls this “Playing with Soil,” and invites community members to collaborate. Participants will learn about Haruna’s process and receive guidance to work on the murals, which will be on view during the Biennale at Site 8, Landfall Municipal Park in Bonavista.
No prior art experience is necessary. All ages welcome!
Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
